SPS Technological Crime Unit, Cyber Crime, Digital Forensics-CFCE, Saskatoon Police Force

Shannon is a sought after international speaker and an award winning member of the Saskatoon Police Technological Crimes Unit supporting cyber investigations. She was recently appointed as the Co-chair of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) and the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATAAlliance) joint advisory body, the Electronic-Crime Cyber Council. Shannon is recognised in the Provincial and Queen’s Bench courts as a forensic computer expert, and is an International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists Certified Forensic Computer, and Digital Forensics Examiner. Shannon spent many years with the Provincial Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) and currently focuses on Cyber Investigations.

An engaging speaker, Shannon is in demand for her ‘Digital Forensics’ and ‘Cyber’ expertise, recently appearing at the 2019 Europol-Interpol Cybercrime Conference in The Hague. Other prominent speaking appointments include the 2018 EPIC Summit, OPP Provincial Strategy Conference, Saskatchewan ICE Crown Prosecutors workshop, Saskatchewan Polytechnic and Business Colleges.
