New Shared Services Canada (SCC) Forum Launched: Join with its Chair, Kevin d'Entremont in helping chart Canada's ITC Directions
December 12, 2011

CATAAlliance, Canada’s largest high tech association today opened a new Forum for executives to access briefing materials, share information and provide guidance on matters relating to the mission, mandate and operations of Shared Services Canada (SSC).

SCC’s mandate is to streamline IT, save money, and end waste and duplication across the Public Civil Service. Its stated objectives are building a lower cost, more effective technology platform with more limited technology diversity and effective project initiation, business cases and execution.

According to Forum Chair & CATA Director, Kevin d’Entremont, formerly Executive Director of GTEC, now with Accenture Canada, “We are organizing a thought leadership Group of executives across Canada, in large and small companies alike to work with SCC officials in addressing key issues and questions, as well as helping them chart the future path for government transformations.”
