The winner is chosen from companies featured in the Intel/CATA Small Business Showcase, companies judged to have met criteria spanning from usage of innovations for improvement of efficiency, increasing marketability, cost savings, environmentally friendly approach and improvement of market position.
The Winner will be announced at the 31st Annual CATAAlliance Innovation Awards Gala on May 26, 2016, hosted by the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University. This year’s theme is “Innovation Leadership and Social Give Back”
For three decades, the CATAAlliance Innovation Awards Gala has been celebrating the best in Canadian advanced technology from coast to coast.
Award winners have shown that they are innovators and skilled business people. They are role models for the development of commercially successful enterprises in Canada. CATA's role as their advocate is to ensure that we create a rich foundation of programs and initiatives that enable leading entrepreneurs to launch their products and exploit their new business opportunities," says John Reid, CATA President.
