Call for Nominations Now Open!

For twenty-six years the CATAAlliance Innovation and Leadership Awards Gala Dinner has been celebrating the best in Canadian innovation and outstanding achievement. This prestigious gala has become one of the most eagerly awaited events of Canada's advanced technology community.

The Awards evening is meant to be a celebration of the award winners and of Canadian innovation. CATAAlliance and its partners will recognize industry innovation, expertise, and leadership in the Canadian high-technology sector. The 2011 Innovation and Leadership Awards Gala Dinner will take place May 18, 2011 at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. Paul Brent, host of CJOH TV's Tech Now will be our guest MC.

CATAAlliance, has added a High Tech Job Board and Search Capability to its suite of business services, utilizing the Alliance's central LinkedIn application. The announcement is part of CATA's full-mobility business infrastructure model which was started in June 2008, aka the "Going Bedouin" program; a program that has fully embraced cloud applications to deliver value to the community.

Canada must say yes to Broadband for Public Safety: Urgent call for Appropriate Spectrum Allocation
CATAAlliance, Canada's largest high tech association today launched an advocacy campaign that recommends first steps to help put Canada in the lead for the development of a unified, state-of-the art mission critical voice and broadband multimedia and services network for our Public Safety community. The campaign, known as "Broadband for Public Safety", supports the aims of the joint police, fire, and emergency medical services working group recently formed towards charting an appropriate course of action in addressing this mission critical area.
