4th Annual Forum provides insights on technology adoption, use and procurement among North American First Responders

Join CATAAlliance on October 18 & 19 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver for the 4th Annual First Responder Vendor Outreach Forum. This Forum brings together a seminal and exclusive gathering of the region's First Responder and public safety leaders with some of North America's most innovative providers of security technologies for the primary purpose of creating discussion and forging professional relationships between these normally distant groups.

Topics shared by the speakers will include:
  • inside information on over $500 Million in immediate U.S. interoperability procurement opportunities
  • panel discussion on the Canadian Broadband Public Safety Network
  • updates pertaining to the 700 MHz Broadband advocacy campaign
  • Personal insights into the day-to-day technology challenges and needs as offered by some of the senior-most emergency responders in the region, across Canada, and even the U.S.
This year's Forum has attracted over 30 distinguished emergency responder leaders including Deputy Commissioner Peter German of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Chief Jim Chu of Vancouver Police, Chief John McKearney, Vancouver Fire Rescue Service, Bill Schrier, CTO for the City of Seattle, and Almin Surani, CIO, Canadian Red Cross, to name only a few.

The innovative two-day Forum blends the traditional trade show approach with a "Dragon's Den" opportunity. Along with having traditional showfloor space, gala reception, and critical information sharing sessions through plenary discussion, the Forum uniquely provides an exclusive opportunity for vendors to obtain a private audience with over 30 of the Forum's emergency responder guests, at one time, and post-session feedback forms providing instant insights on who is interested in being further engaged.

Act now! The Forum is open to only 125 registered guests to allow for more intimate networking and only a limited number of seats and Boardroom sessions remain.
