September 25, 2013

Ottawa, September 25, 2013 (draft)…CATAAlliance is pleased to confirm that Martin Kenneally, Senior Director Security and Accreditation, and Bill Zakarow, Senior Director, Procurement, for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games Organizing Committee will be joining the exciting line-up of speakers and participating in private sessions with vendors during this year’s 6th Annual First Responder Vendor Outreach Forum.

“We are tremendously pleased to be taking part in this year’s Forum and sharing insights into the complex security plans being undertaken for the Pan Am games and identifying the significant procurement opportunities that exist for innovative technology providers,” says Mr. Kenneally. “Bill and I are especially interested in the unique Executive Boardroom format being provided at the Forum, as it is often a challenge for us to otherwise make time to meet with vendors individually. Being able to do so among other public safety peers also helps alleviate the challenges of otherwise meeting with vendors in a one-on-one approach.”

This year’s two-day Forum highlights opening keynotes by Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair and Dale McFee, Deputy Minister of Corrections and Policing, Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice.

Joining them are more than a dozen speakers consisting of senior public safety authorities representing organizations such as the Ontario Provincial Police, Defence Research and Development Canada – Centre for Security Sciences, Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs, Toronto Pan Am Games, Canadian Interoperability Technology Interest Group, Greater Toronto Airport Authority, Hastings-Quinte EMS, Canadian Centre for Public Safety and First Responders, Toronto Police Service, Halifax Police Service, and CANARIE.

The Forum takes place October 8 & 9 in Toronto at the Fairmount Royal York. The event is close to sold out – register now at:
