CATAAlliance Celebrates Innovation Leadership: Highlights from the 29th Annual CATAAlliance Innovation Awards Gala

OTTAWA - The 2014 Award Winners were announced the evening of May 21st at a sold out Gala Dinner featuring a keynote address from CATA National Spokesperson & Chair of Mitel and Wesley Clover, Sir Terence Matthews who reported on the status of Canada's innovation nation, and next steps for boosting our competitive performance.

Mr. Matthews was joined by an Executive Panel of public and private sector executives including Josh Blair, Chief Corporate Officer and Executive Vice-President of TELUS Health & Payment Solutions and TELUS International, Meg Beckel, President & CEO, Canadian Museum of Nature and Warren Roy, CEO & Founder, Global Relay.

Keeping-up with the theme of the Gala, Innovation Leadership, and following CATA's passion for digital adoption, the winners were announced via Twitter.

For nearly three decades, the CATAAlliance Innovation Awards Gala has been celebrating the best in Canadian advanced technology from coast to coast and this year certainly did not disappoint!

CATAAlliance will continue to recognize the talent of this year's Award Winners over the summer months and into the Fall to bring awareness to new, upcoming, and trending Canadian technology companies and organizations. Winners were provided the opportunity to showcase their keys to success and innovation through a series of leadership videos produced by Keshet Technologies. The first video in this series of 15 interviews is set to debut the end of June.
