The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATAAlliance), the traditional champion of small to medium size enterprises (SME) in Canada, encourages these business owners to explore the wealth of information, tools, and resources being provided by Public Safety Canada's Get Cyber Safe campaign portal to help protect them from becoming cybercrime victims.

The Get Cyber Safe portal is a national public awareness campaign created to educate Canadians about Internet security and the simple steps they can take to protect themselves online. The CATAAlliance recently supported a dedicated campaign from Get Cyber Safe focussed on promoting practical cyber security tips SMEs can take to protect their businesses, and offering a comprehensive Get Cyber Safe Guide for Small and Medium Businesses, also containing a valuable cyber security status self-assessment tool to help determine a business's basic status with respect to cyber security.
