Webinar on Mobile Opportunities: The next big wave lifting jobs, business growth
March 15, 2013

When: Tuesday, April 2nd at 11:00 am EST The demand for wireless devices is profoundly altering consumer behaviour in Canada and world-wide. Mobile devices are becoming the most rapidly-adopted technology in history and the most popular and widespread personal technology in the world. The deployment of high-capacity network infrastructure is well advanced in Canada. Nine out of ten Canadians own a cell phone.

Discussing the impact of this inundation will be Sara Diamond, President of OCAD University, and Namir Anani, President and CEO of the Information and Communications Technology Council. These leaders will describe the emerging colossus of the mobile sector, and its effect on jobs, the economy and behaviour. There will be a focus on Ontario and an Action Plan for growth, and on the overall country.

Please join a group of your colleagues on Tuesday, April 2nd at 11:00 am EST for our Teleforum Conference Calls. Moderated by Backbone Magazine Editor Peter Wolchak, the format invites comments from experts who will be attending the call and who will engage in information sharing and updates on key issues and concerns.

The Teleforum Conference Call (of particular interest to the ITC sector) is a uniquely interactive meeting of invitation-only executives who will also be invited to related venues to extend the information sharing, access to briefing material and encourage peer exchanges.

Leaders in Toronto can inquire about joining a live luncheon to hear the webinar in person and discuss the issues with Sara Diamond and Namir Anani in person.
