Advancing Canada’s Innovation Potential: BDO Tax, Tech & Life Sciences Practice Leader Dave Walsh Offers Insights

CATAAlliance (, a recognized champion of Canadian innovation and entrepreneurship, today announced that Dave Walsh is the newly appointed Leader for BDO’s Tax services practice and Technology & Life Sciences industry practice (National Capital Region).  Dave has been a member of the CATA Innovation Leadership Council (ILC) since 2007.

The ILC serves as an advisory body, providing guidance on the implementation of the CATAAlliance mandate to support the global competitiveness of its members and the advancement of Canada as a competitive Innovation Nation, in addition to offering a community peer network to assess share insights into needs, trends and achievements.

Dave has been quoted regularly by numerous national media publications on all matters of taxation, including the annual Federal Budget, and has tutored many levels of the Canadian Indepth Tax Course for many years. Dave has participated as a judge as the prestigious Inter­Collegiate Business Competition hosted by Queen's University, and is a graduate of that institution.
