Re: Miesner on Tech interview: CBC Radio with CATA CEO

CATAAlliance is an active media participant; we regularly engage with national and local reporters and columnists to explore issues and themes relevant to helping advance Canada as a Competitive Innovation Nation.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas was the venue for a recent interview by Dan Misener, national technology columnist for CBC Radio on "Why the tech toys at CES take so long to get to Canada?"

Mr. Misener first talked with CBC writer broadcaster Stephanie Domet (in Halifax) before reaching out to CATA CEO John Reid (in Ottawa) on the steps we need to consider to make Canada more attractive a a technology testbed.

Mentorship MinutesListen to the twenty minute interview of Ms Domet & Mr. Reid (minute 8:30 for full interview) as they explore Digital Rights, Canada as a "testbed", money, markets & people, and the re branding of Canada as a test bed nation.
