Motorola Solutions Award for Public Safety Technology Now Open for Nominations: CATA’s Innovation Gala

OTTAWA  – CATAAlliance, Canada’s One Voice For Innovation Lobby Group today announced that nominations are now open for its award recognizing excellence in public safety technology. The “Motorola Solutions Award for Public Safety Technology” is named for a leading innovator of public safety solutions that helps build safer cities and thriving communities.

The award will be presented to a Canadian organization for an outstanding technology engineering development that has resulted in the production of a world-class public safety product or family of products. The product will have proven itself in operation, and its design and market success will have enhanced Canada’s international reputation for innovation and excellence.

Finalists and award recipients will be chosen by a committee comprising experts from the CATAAlliance Innovation Leadership Council, first responder organizations and Motorola Solutions.

The Motorola Solutions Award for Public Safety Technology will be presented at the CATA Innovation Leadership Awards Gala on May 15, 2019 at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University and continues a 34-year tradition of recognizing outstanding technological innovation and corporate leadership in expanding the frontiers of Canada’s advanced technology industries.

CTV Alumni Host, Paul Brent will be returning as the guest Gala MC as Ohad Arazi, Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President, Provider Solutions at TELUS Health and, Shurjeel Choudhri  MD FRCPC, SVP and Head, Medical & Scientific Affairs, Bayer Inc., take the stage to spotlight major trends in digital health care and what they mean for the well being of all citizens.
