Excellence in the Prevention and Investigation of Cybercrimes (EPIC) Awards (2019), a CATA/CACP partnered outreach for nominations

The Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) and the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATAAlliance) through its joint advisory body the eCrime Cyber Council are pleased to be hosting the Excellence in the Prevention and Investigation of Cybercrimes (EPIC) awards at #IPCS2019! These awards recognize and reward the valuable contributions by individuals and/or teams in Canadian law enforcement and private sector leaders who have demonstrated excellence, innovation and initiative in the prevention, detection, disruption, and dismantling of cybercrime actors and organizations, that has demonstrated a positive impact for cybercrime victims. There will be two EPIC awards presented: the first recognizing Cybercrime Investigators/Teams and the second recognizing Outstanding Cybercrime Product or Service from private sector innovators.  Ps New for 2019: Winners who will be livestreamed at the EPIC Conference (November 5-7, 2019, Calgary, Alberta), will also be interviewed post Conference for CATA TECHNOW’s Public Safety & Security Channel, combined with an Op-Ed opportunity to reach an audience of more than 3 million viewers in Canada and across the globe with Award details and commentary on the future of e-crime leadership in Canada.
