Dear Community members,
We are hoping you will join us for the inaugural international, DRIVE conference, taking place on 20-22 February 2019, in Waterloo. Please register at: DRIVE’s website
The Lazaridis Institute and Hockeystick are co-hosting, CATA is a supporter and our desired outcome is to come up with ways of creating domestic value in a global tech economy. We need to be better at scaling tech companies and building innovation ecosystems leading to commercial successes.
We have invited policy-makers, researchers, program and ecosystem leaders, and investors from, literally, around the world: Europe and the UK, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South America, Australia/New Zealand, and the US. Richard Florida, Deena Shakir, Maria Gotsch, Catherine Mahugu and others will provide keynotes. From Brooklyn’s New Labs to Kitchener’s Catalyst 137, from Nordic Innovation to Tech Wadi, from governments and corporates to grassroots, the potential for new ideas and opportunities has no bounds.
You will find more information, as well as the registration link, here on DRIVE’s website. We are updating the website daily as we receive more confirmations.
We would love to have you here. Our participants are people who are making a difference. In addition to thought-provoking conversations and debates, we’ve organized some excellent social events and networking opportunities—including a Canadian whiskey tasting.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
