Quality Assurance / Software Verification

We’re a fast-growing startup looking to add dedicated quality assurance specialists to our team.  We have a strong focus on test automation and code quality and are looking for candidates with both automated and manual testing skills. We want specialists who will apply their natural curiosity to learn our product end-to-end and become domain experts.

Our SaaS product is a critical part of the financial assurance ecosystem and you’ll be embedded in our development team to ensure our clients get the results they need from our data ingestion, machine learning, visualization, and workflow subsystems.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Collaborating with product managers and developers to decide on test strategies for new features
  • Automating API and user interface tests
  • Performing exploratory testing on new features
  • Building test frameworks and test cases for our machine learning pipelines

Ownership is important at MindBridge. We want someone with an inquiring mind who will dig into requirements with product managers and developers. We don’t expect you to know anything about accounting or auditing, but you’re going to learn quickly!

Below are some of the technologies we’re using for our automated tests. Tell us why you’d be a great fit — what do you know, and what are you learning?

  • JavaScript/TypeScript, Protractor, Cucumber, Selenium
  • JUnit, Mockito, Spring Boot

Key Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent
  • Fluency in at least one of JavaScript/TypeScript or Java
  • Experience with an integration or system test framework (Selenium, Protractor, Tavern, Insomnia, Postman, etc.)
  • Knowledge of common testing heuristics
  • Eligibility for Government of Canada Secret Level (II) clearance is contingent on employment

Additional Skills

  • Basic knowledge of financial reporting concepts (balance sheet, income statement, transactions and ledgers)
