Ottawa, On, Washington, D.C…CATAAlliance, Canada’s One Voice for Innovation Lobby Group, announced today that U.S. based Springboard Enterprises, has formally supported the Alliance’s advocacy Campaign to remove the systemic discrimination against women-founded and led businesses by setting the requirement of 51% ownership regarding access to many programs set up to advance the growth of their enterprises.
Amy Millman, President, Springboard Enterprises, said, “ Governments in their pursuit of diversity do not seem to get the fact that they may be introducing systemic discrimination against women-founded and led businesses by setting the requirement of 51% ownership. In Canada, the U.S. and around the globe, we must avoid creating legislative brick walls that set up unconditional ownership and control of 51%.”
CanWIT, National Spokesperson, & Founder & CEO, SalesChoice Inc., an Award winning AI Company, Dr. Cindy Gordon concluded, “ We have a 20 year history of working with Springboard Enterprises, and our North American advocacy team up adds to the positive actions we take together to promote diversity and entrepreneurship for our constituencies.”
