Ottawa, ON – CATA Cyber, a division of CATAAlliance is proud to support the 2nd Annual International Urban Security and Resilience Workshop and Conference taking place in Toronto May 8-10th of this year. This year’s conference will address the growing and global issues of security and resilience which are facing those in government, industry and public safety.
“The pervasive threat to critical infrastructure is something we hear coming from our industry and government partners on a regular basis” says Katherine Thompson, Chair of CATA’s Cyber Council. “CATA’s work with the Public Safety community over the years has led to strong alliances with all levels of government, policing and first responders both in and outside of Canada” adds Thompson
The workshop and conference will take place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto and CATA members will receive a discounted rate to participate. “The Organizing Committee is delighted to collaborate with CATA Cyber to provide a high-level forum for representatives of the international security intelligence and law-enforcement communities, public and private security practitioners, government officials, community and corporate leaders, non-governmental agencies, and academia to engage in a dialogue with the view to develop new strategies to counter the evolving societal security challenges” says Dr. Felix Kwamena, Organizing Committee Chair.
