This CAMSC corporate advocacy champion award, presented annually at the CATA Innovation and Leadership Gala, is given to an individual who actively promotes diversity in the supply chain as a mechanism for innovation and competitiveness.
Elizabeth Auceda, Manager Supplier Diversity, Sodexo in Profile
Elizabeth Auceda has been with Sodexo for nine years and has a vast experience in Accounting, Finance and Procurement. She has been focusing on sourcing new vendors and services for Sodexo for over four years.
As the Lead for Supplier Diversity for Sodexo’s operations here in Canada, Elizabeth is currently responsible for assessing and assisting diverse vendors who are interested in doing business with her organization.
Elizabeth main objectives are to enhance the supplier base, lead on Sodexo’s commitment to being a leader in diversity and inclusion, and lead Sodexo in their social and economic obligations within the communities in which they operate.
She actively participates in Sodexo Employee Resource Groups and is the Co-Chair of the Cultural Diversity group within Sodexo. Elizabeth has taken a leadership role in CAMSC initiatives over the last few years, tirelessly championing CAMSC events and activities with every opportunity.
CAMSC operates as a private sector-led, non profit membership organization governed by a board of Directors; comprised of major multinational corporations operating in Canada. The organization aims to boost economic development efforts and employment.
CAMSC is associated with the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
