Trump Tech Trends: Media Expert Offers Insights on U.S. President’s Influence on Technology and Impact for Canadian Business

Watch this 13-minute video podcast featuring host Kevin Wennekes, Chief Business Officer for CATAAlliance, as he interviews Paul Brent, former CTV Ottawa broadcast journalist and reporter, and member, CATA Innovation Leadership Council, in a discussion on the potential impacts to Canadian technology providers resulting from Donald Trump’s presidency.

In the first of what is expected to be a series of such discussions, Mr. Brent takes aim not only at how President Trump’s own personal knowledge and consumption of technology will potentially shape the direction of key U.S. government policies in areas such as procurement and R&D, but provides a specific focus on the cybersecurity and cybercrime challenges that impact on both countries.
