New Tailored Tech Employee Group Benefits Insurance Plan for Growing Canada’s technology enterprises

Toronto, ON…CATAAlliance, Canada’s One Voice for Advocacy Lobby Group, announced today that it is developing a new Tech Employee Group Benefits Insurance Plan, geared to the needs of Canada’s technology enterprises.

CATA CEO, John Reid, said, “ Our approach is to seek additional value in the marketplace for tech employers to better attract and keep their top talent and through innovation to achieve a high level of customization, cost savings and value added. Unique to the new Tech Plan will be CATA advocacy to advance public policies aimed at attracting best talent to Canada, as part of CATA’s competitive Innovation National agenda.

Reid added, ” We will be employing a short Survey Tool Form to constantly monitor the HR needs of the industry and then act according to marketplace guidance, in the same way as we have developed Award winner approaches to addressing advocacy issues identified through crowd based methodologies.”

 Jeff Richer said, “ Steps have already been taken to bundle the new Tech Benefits Plan with Cash Back Rewards from suppliers like Starbucks, Business Depot, Rona, the Home Depot, Roots, HP, Reebok, Marks Warehouse, Fiverr, and Toms.”

He added, ” CATA’s HR Leadership Team is led by industry experts who have full access to the six large insurance carriers (i.e., Manulife Financial, Great-West Lifeco, Inc., Sun Life Financial, IA Financial Group, RBC Insurance, Empire Life)  in Canada, including a host of capable claims payers and specialty providers of management services and health spending accounts.”

Richer concluded “ Instead of a One Plan for All, we will tailer Plans based on the individual needs of small to large enterprises, using innovative approaches to do so and making full use of group purchasing power to add value. We will lead advocacy for the industry to attract and keep best talent in Canada. ”
