Ottawa, ON…CATAAlliance, Canada’s One Voice for Innovation Lobby Group has applauded Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, call for government(s) to leverage their purchasing power by becoming marquee customers for Canadian technologies.
In a recent interview, Minister Bains said, “ The government is in a very unique position. We are the largest purchaser of goods and services, we really are a marquee customer…When we become a customer for Canadian technologies, they can go abroad and brag about doing business in Canada.”
CATA has reached out to tens of thousands of executives in opt in social networks, advisory board members, including video interview commentary, subject area experts and research teams, to advance innovation guidance 12 thematic areas, inclusive of marketplace approaches to government procurement.
