High Tech Gets New Job Board and Search Engine: CATA continues with build out of its Bedouin, full mobility office

Ottawa, ON, August 24, 2011.  CATAAlliance has added a High Tech Job Board and Search Capability to its growing suite of business services, utilizing the Alliance’s LinkIn application as the hub for the new application. Users can now enter a job title, add details and then follow responses to their posting. There is also  features that helps them find a job.

The new Job Board is part of CATA’s full-mobility business infrastructure model which was started in June 2008, aka the “Going Bedouin” full mobility program; a program that has seen CATAAlliance fully embraced cloud applications and social media to deliver value to the community customers.

CATA CEO, John Reid commented, “And we have more in the pipeline with mutli language blogging (e.g., French, Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin) and a CATA i-phone application soon to released”

He added, “In the past when we sent out a newsletter, it reached ten thousand readers. Now when we press the Send Button, we reach one million two hundred  thousand executives using direct email, private email systems and more than 100 social networks in Canada and in every major global market. Social media has already proven to be a very powerful resource in assisting our members grow their business and support the industry’s advocacy voice. Now this communication engine will get behind talent attraction.”
