Still Space Remaining in CATA's Canadian Mission to China Mobile Global Partners Conference 2013

This mission will be of primary interest to companies or individuals with leading edge technologies in mobile application development; internet or industrial communications; platform providers (such as third party apps store, promotion or ad platforms); carriers; and technology or service providers (including development tools or engines).

The mission takes place between December 12-19 and will see delegates visit Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. Travel subsidies of 50% and daily per diems are available to qualified Canadian companies. Mission delegates will share in private meetings with senior Chinese government and industry leaders, participate in invitation-only roundtables and networking events, and also obtain tradeshow exhibit space in the Canadian Pavilion planned for the China Mobile Global Partners Conference 2013.

The Canadian Mission
The mobile market in China is growing faster than ever. In 2012, the national telecommunications business was about $0.2 trillion, increased by 11.1% over last year. The number of mobile phone users reached to 1.1 billion and 3G users reached to 230 million.

China Mobile Global Partners Conference 2013 is China Mobile's annual flagship event which will take place in Guangzhou, China. This year's conference theme is "Accumulate the Power of Innovation", and the conference will bring together over 2000 delegates to discuss the new industry ecosystem, explore Mobile Internet industry challenges, opportunities and solutions in China and worldwide. What is included
  1. Exhibition under Canadian Pavilion A Canadian themed Pavilion offering you a featured booth that the CATA China team will full assist you in establishing resulting in little to no pre-launch preparation required by your staff
  2. Keynote speech opportunity Keynote speech from Canadian experts will be delivered at the conference to share the best practices in Canada, and to promote overall Canadian strength in this sector.
  3. Participation in conference and other activities organized by China Mobile The Canadian delegates will be able to join all activities including conference, forums, receptions, etc. organized by China Mobile during this event.
  4. Outreach to Shenzhen and Shanghai Shenzhen and Shanghai are two of the important mobile technologies bases in China. CATA will work with Canadian Consulate General of Canada in Guangzhou/Shanghai to organize local company visits and round-table with key telecom operators and SPs.
  5. One-on-one meetings One-on-one meetings will be arranged in Guangzhou/Shenzhen/Shanghai upon the request of our delegates.

  6. Cost and Travel Subsidy

    All participants will share 50% of the cost for this event which is estimated to be $1000-$1500 per participant. Final Cost will be confirmed upon finalizing the precise number of participants.

    A travel subsidy including 50% of the international airfare between Canada and China (economy class, domestic flights in China can be included) to a maximum of $1100, plus a maximum $1400 per diem ($200 per day for seven days) is available for only one representative per company. Subsidy is available for only a limited number of participants and will be allocated on first-come, first-serve basis.
