Leading ‘Business Builder’ Joins Intelligent Community Movement: Ted Dzialowski

Serial entrepreneur, angel investor and ‘builder of businesses’ Ted Dzialowski has accepted an invitation to join the i-CANADA Governors Council  --   the voice of the Intelligent Community movement in Canada.  In a leadership role, Mr. Dzialowski has served as the Chairman of the Futura Loyalty Group, the Executive Chairman of Nutrilawn Franchise System, the Grout Medic Franchise System, Executive Chairman of Cleanol Integrated Services and Founder and Partner of Trillum Health Care Products in addition to investment and advisory roles in various firms

“Ted has a wonderful ability to bring business strategy, people and finance together, to create new enterprises or make current ones as effective as they can be,” stated i-CANADA Chair Bill Hutchison.  “He has an aptitude for the construction of efficient organizations.  He will help Canadian firms with advice on angel investing, business mentoring, and business research.  He has built companies to over $100 million in sales -- a skill that is in extremely high demand in Canada.”

“I am particularly interested in bringing to i-CANADA my experience with integration and cooperation,” said Mr. Dzialowski.  “The business world has never moved as fast as it’s moving now, and we need to strategically harness finance, HR, sales, marketing and organizational design, digital education and collaboration to match the blistering speed of our global competitors.  Creating an “Intelligent Nation”   --  at the community grass-roots level  --  is mandatory if we are to stay ahead.”

“Ted’s background allows i-CANADA to help business leaders get the support and resources necessary to guide them through the current turbulence,” added Mr. Hutchison.  “He will help them clarify their vision and develop and execute plans to achieve that vision.”


About Ted Dzialowski

Mr. Ted Dzialowski served as Independent Chairman of the Board of The Futura Loyalty Group Inc., a marketing loyalty company which was sold in 2013.   He is a serial entrepreneur with experience in creating, acquiring, turning around and building companies in various industries ranging from environmental services, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals manufacturing, information technology to franchising. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Nutrilawn Ecology Friendly Lawn Care Ltd. and, served as Executive Chairman of The Grout Medic and Cleanol Integrated Services Ltd until their recent divestitures. Ted has experience  in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and human resources garnered through various corporate roles prior to establishing his own businesses. Ted’s information technology interests have covered performance management analytics,  knowledge, eLearning and compliance management, medical practice benchmarking, eprescribing and clinical decision support systems. Ted has also served as an Executive in Residence at the Ivey Business School and was a judge in the Canadian MBA Case Competition. He has taught Health Sector Innovation and Investment and Strategy and Technology courses in the MBA program at the Schulich School of Business at York University and is completing a Doctorate in Business Administration in Performance Management Analytics at the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.

Ted is a Senior Partner in Plutus Consulting Group providing performance improvement consulting services in Canada and Vice President of the International Council for Quality Care providing Health Care consulting in the United States.
