Vancouver, BC... CATAAlliance (www.cata.ca), a recognized champion of Canadian innovation and entrepreneurship, today announced that Josh Blair, Executive Vice-President of TELUS Health and TELUS International, as well as President of TELUS Business Solutions West, will serve as national spokesperson for the CATA Innovation Leadership Council (ILC).
The ILC serves as an advisory body, providing guidance on the implementation of the CATAAlliance mandate to support the global competitiveness of its members and the advancement of Canada as a competitive Innovation Nation, in addition to offering a community peer network to assess share insights into needs, trends and achievements.
CATA CEO John Reid said “Mr. Blair, who was the keynote speaker at this year’s CATA Innovation Gala on the theme of innovation and social give back, will be one of three community leaders engaged as national spokespersons to help advance CATA’s mission, mandate and core planks.“
According to Mr. Blair, “As the world continues to adopt a more social viewpoint, organizations will increasingly be judged by the whole package of what they do for their customers, team members, shareholders and communities.”
Mr. Blair added, “And that package includes five key ingredients to improving performance: corporate social responsibility employment, tax morality, for-profit activities that drive social good, and partnerships that add credibility and value.”

He is an excellent choice as a national spokesperson and role model for our innovation community.”
