Join a group of your colleagues on
Friday November 20th for a CATA Teleforum Conference Call on the new mandate of Export Development Canada (EDC) to begin underwriting bank loans to exporters that receive research and development tax credits through the SR&ED program.
Loans will only be available to companies that export, expect to receive their SR&ED benefit in the form of a cash refund and have a history of successful SR&ED claims.
EDC's initiative is very timely. Although interest rates have been low, SMEs (Small to Mid-Sized Enterprises) that have intellectual property as their primary asset have suffered reduced access to credit and working capital.
The Teleforum Conference Call is a uniquely interactive meeting of invitation-only executives who will also be invited to related venues to extend the information sharing, access to briefing material and encourage peer exchanges.
