November 2, 2012

As part of CATA’s monthly Public Safety Perspectives webcasts, we have completed a Teleforum  featuring Inspecteur Benoit Charron, Pratiques policières et technologies de l'information for the Gatineau Police Service on a soon-to-be released Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of a system to manage all digital evidence collected during the course of an investigation.

Inspecteur Charron spoke to the bidding process, submission deadline, budget, mandatory and rated requirements and possibilities of application to other agencies. There was an active Q&A  among callers, thus providing additional insights into how best to approach this procurement opportunity.

++ Action Item: Interested parties can obtain a copy of the Teleforum recording, including all materials and a list of participants by request to CATA CEO, John Reid at jreid@cata.ca
