CATAAlliance and CIPS Offer Free IT Security Tool
September 25, 2007

CATAAlliance is pleased to collaborate with member organization CIPS (Canadian Information Processing Society) to help raise awareness around a test and survey of the recently released third version of the Microsoft Security Assessment Tool (MSAT): a free tool designed to help organizations assess weaknesses in their current IT security environment, reveal a prioritized list of issues, and help provide specific guidance to minimize those risks.

By downloading, testing, and then answering a short survey regarding the product, the first 25 participants will receive a copy of Windows Server 2003 R2 with 25 client licenses ($4,000 value), while an additional 50 copies of Windows Server 2003 R2 with 25 client licenses will be awarded to entrants drawn from all responses received by September 30, 2007.
