Ottawa, Sept. 17, 2008…CATAAlliance is pleased to announce the addition of a new international keynote to its First Responder Vendor Outreach Forum . Mr. Yang Jincai: a former senior police officer of the Public Security Bureau of Shenzhen City and current Chairman of the Shenzhen Security & Protection Industry Association (SSPIA) and editor-in-chief of China Public Security Publishing will profile emerging global business opportunities for delegates. The SSPIA has over 4,000 companies as members and collaborates with First Responders throughout China and with all levels of government.
Mr. Yang also started and presides over the China Public Security Expo – one of the largest security exhibitions in the world. The 2007 Expo had 3,300 exhibitors distributed over an area of 70,000 sq. m. and attracted more than 100,000 visitors from 90 different countries.
“Mr. Yang will add some tremendous insight into the current public safety and security environment in China and associated markets,” says CATA VP Research Kevin Wennekes. “His keynote address will touch on the similar and unique challenges facing the First Responder community in China, their need for innovative, made-in-Canada solutions, and details on an invitation to seek Canadian thought leadership and a strong national presence at the 2009 security expo in China.”
Along with Mr. Yang’s unique and unprecedented visit from China, the First Responder Vendor Outreach Forum will include presentations from the U.S. Embassy, the Canadian Police Research Centre, Export Development Canada, and noted leaders from First Responder organizations from across Ontario and Quebec.
