Canada-U.S. spectrum agreement will eliminate interference in border areas: Industry Canada: This Week In The Wire Report: CATA Speaks Out:

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) new arrangement with Canada to share the 700 MHz and 800 MHz spectrum bands in border areas will help eliminate interference and strengthen public safety' Industry Canada says. "The arrangement with the U.S. ensures that future Canadian 700 MHz operators will have equal access to spectrum within 120 km of the border and provides clarity on the international coordination requirements in force in that area," Industry Canada spokeswoman Lauren Hebert told The Wire Report in an email response to questions.

High Tech Gets New Job Board and Search Engine: CATA continues with build out of its Bedouin, 'full mobility' office:
CATAAlliance has added a High Tech Job Board and Search Capability to its growing suite of business' services' utilizing the Alliance's LinkedIn application as the hub for the new application. Users can now enter a job title, add details and then follow responses to their posting. There is also features that help them find a job. The new Job Board is part of CATA's full-mobility business infrastructure model which was started in June 2008, aka the "Going Bedouin" full mobility program; a program that has seen CATAAlliance fully embraced cloud applications and social media to deliver value to the community customers.
