Ultra-broadband at Google's residential test speeds of one billion bits a second is coming to Toronto, through the mega-revitalization project called "Toronto Waterfront". The total infrastructure investment will top $34-billion; the I.T. side represents more than $1-billion.
If you would like to learn more about the Waterfront project, including how to become a supplier on the I.T. side, join a group of your colleagues at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 28th for a TeleForum briefing call and Q&A on the coming of ultra-broad to Toronto. Bigger than Canary Wharf in London, the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Project will provide the same affordable access to collaboration as other leading cities in the world -- cities where new models of effective health care, world class education and workplace collaboration can be innovated.
Bill Hutchison, Chair, Toronto Waterfront Advisory Council, and Chair, i-Canada
