CATAAtlantic Member receives nomination for first annual Atlantic Canada CSR Awards

July 12, 2011 - Fredericton-based Stellar Learning Strategies was recently nominated for the first annual Atlantic Canada CSR Awards, presented by Atlantic Business Magazine in partnership with Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Management. The awards program recognizes Atlantic Canadian companies that are committed to corporate social responsibility and sustainable prosperity.

Awards will be presented in three categories: Philanthropy/Community Outreach (for support of social initiatives within the local community, and/or on a national or international basis; Human Resources (recognizing significant initiatives to improve the working lives, safety, diversity or general well being of employees); Sustainability (for significant improvements in operations, production processes, resource requirements, recycling, product design, buildings and other infrastructure that demonstrably improve sustainability.

Stellar Learning Strategies and its German partner, Heidelberg mobil International Gmbh (HDM-I), are currently creating innovative mobile information systems for pedestrians and vehicles in the greater Fredericton area, focusing on location-based features and human-computer interaction.
