Join the Teleforum Conference Call Briefing with Experts: Register and Engage Today

Join a group of your colleagues on Wednesday, July 15th, beginning at 11 am to noon EST, for a CATA Teleforum Conference Call to discuss how the federal government is adjusting procurement policies to make the process easier for SMEs. We will also seek guidance and engagement in matters relating to Technology Test Beds and Reference Accounts

The Standing Committee on Government Operations held five hearings on the ability of SMEs to access federal contracts. What began as a study on the bundling of [IT] contracts became a study on the conditions surrounding SMEs as they try to access federal contracts

Callers will have an opportunity to review Report Findings, engage in Q&A with experts and provide guidance on the government procurement. Some specific topics are as follows:
  • June 2009 House of Commons parliamentary report.
  • SME Issues and Concerns Identified
  • Technology Test Bed and Reference Accounts
  • Engagement and Guidance
  • Desired Outcomes and Timelines
The briefing will be of special interest to private and public sector executives at the municipal, provincial and federal levels who are involved with government procurement. Presentation materials will be provided.
