Re: Harvard Graduate Course: Cities of the Future for city-builders
_________________________________________________________________________

Dear Community members,

A course running July 31-August 1, 2013, at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD), will address two key questions for city-builders:

·         What does it take to consider our Cities again to be engines of innovation and productivity in an era of information and networks, and in a world that is so rapidly changing?

·         How will this innovation and productivity have an impact on how we work, live, learn, and play—and what is the subsequent impact on our built environment?

Two i-CANADA champions will bring their perspectives to the issue of building next generation infrastructures:

     - Rick Huijbregts, Vice President, Industry and Business Transformation, Cisco Canada

     - Kristina Verner, Director, Intelligent Communities, Waterfront Toronto

In the Harvard GSD Executive Education series, industry and academia’s foremost leaders join with accomplished design and real estate professionals from around the world. In this setting, complex challenges are addressed and innovative solutions are created.
