New Zealand-Canada Public Safety & Defence Forum

In collaboration with the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, the New Zealand High Commission, the Canadian Interoperability Technology Interest Group, and CFN Consultants, the CATAAlliance is hosting a unique public safety information and networking event in Ottawa on June 11.

The New Zealand government is facilitating the visit of a group of approximately 30 representatives from 25 different organizations to North America where they will be taking part in a series of information sessions, networking events, and one-on-one matchmaking sessions with prospective new clients and/or potential business-to-business collaboration opportunities. Ottawa is the first stop in a series that will include also Washington, DC, and San Francisco, CA.

This one-day Forum features speakers from noted public safety organizations such as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Greater Toronto Airport Authority, National Search and Rescue Secretariat, City of Ottawa Emergency Management, Department of National Defence, and the Canadian Coast Guard, with an opening address from His Excellency Andrew Needs, NZ High Commissioner to Canada.

Canadian industry executives are invited to attend to benefit from the competitive insights being shared by noted public safety officials, but to also explore the potential B2B and supply chain opportunities that exist among the visiting New Zealand delegates.

Unique “Speed Networking” Format

Using CATAAlliance's validated "Speed Networking" format, not only will attendees have an opportunity to share in open plenary discussions with event speakers, they will enjoy a 10-15 minute opportunity to speak with each of the public safety and knowledge experts in intimate, round table sessions.

The Forum will be formally concluded through a private reception among 150 invited VIP guests.

There is no charge to attend, however space is limited to 50 participants. As such, interested candidates are invited to submit their registration for consideration, and a final confirmation on the status of your reservation will be provided shortly after submission.
