Join a group of your colleagues on Monday, June 01 for a CATA Teleforum Conference Call to learn about QUALCOMM Ventures (QCV). As well, a briefing will be provided on a new QUALCOMM sponsored global business plan fund.
Qualcomm Ventures (QCV) was formed and began funding in 2000, with a $500-million fund commitment to make strategic investments in early-stage high-technology ventures. Since then, QCV has funded numerous companies in the wireless sector, and set up several exclusive regional funds to spur development in key strategic markets.
QCV makes strategic investments in wireless-industry ventures that provide both a strong potential return on investment (ROI) and complement existing Qualcomm products and services. When selecting portfolio companies, QCV seeks a balance between ROI and long-range strategic value to the company and the wireless industry.
Target audience: companies engaged in the development of wireless technology development in consumer/enterprise applications and services, communication devices, semiconductor and component technologies, mobile platforms, digital media and content, healthcare technologies and services, or cleantech
The Teleforum Conference Call is a uniquely interactive meeting of invitation-only executives who will also be invited to related venues to extend the information sharing, Q&A, access to briefing material and business networking.
