Participate in China Automotive Technology Show: world's largest auto show in world's largest auto market
6th China International Automotive Electronics & Testing Technology Show in Shanghai; additional trips to Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Wuxi, June 14-19, 2010
The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) is organizing an Automobile Mission to the largest auto show in China: the 6th China International Automotive Electronics & Testing Technology Show in Shanghai. Additional trips to the auto-centres of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Wuxi are also included. The mission will run from June 14 to June 19, 2010.
China became both the largest automobile producer and market in the world after experiencing massive growth in 2009. In the first quarter of 2010, 4.61 million cars were sold in China, with annual sales expected to top 17 million -- a rise of 4 million over the previous year and almost double the number sold in the U.S. The New Energy sector will occupy an important place in China automobile industry. Experts estimate that the output value of new energy vehicle industry in 2012 is expected to reach CAD $77 billion.
Representatives joining the Canadian mission will discover the market trends, find available prospects, maintain relationship with current clients and advance awareness through corporate branding. In addition, mission members will attend the roundtable with the show organizers and related enterprises, to discuss further cooperative opportunities. Several local company visits will also be arranged in Shanghai.
Typical participants in the Trade Fair include Delegations, Senior Officials & Decision makers from China; Automotive Electronics Companies; Automobile Manufacturers; Vehicle Parts Manufacturers; System Integrators; Device Manufacturers; Component Suppliers; Software Developers; Agents and Distributors; Exporters & Importers; and Finance and Investment Executives.
The cost for participating in the mission is $2,000 for business activities. A limited number of subsidies of $1,500 are available for Canadian participants, on a first-come first-served basis.
