THE OTTAWA HOSPITAL STROKE FORE STROKE GOLF DAY
presented by CATAAlliance and RBC Dominion Securities
(Registration details for June 18th)

Dear High Tech Executives

We wish to announce some exciting news this year regarding our annual golf tournaments and an important partnership, all in support of stroke research and patient care at The Ottawa Hospital. The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance and The Ottawa Hospital Foundation have partnered to create The Ottawa Hospital Stroke Fore Stroke Annual Golf Day, presented by CATAAlliance and RBC Dominion Securities.

We have taken the strengths of two great tournaments and twinned them to create an even stronger event. Both tournaments will take place this year on June 18th, one in the east at Outaouais Golf Club and the other in the west at Loch March Golf & Country Club. Our plan is to build our partnership, grow the event and increase regional support. We expect to raise more than $90,000 this year with our new relationship, which will directly support stroke research and patient care at The Ottawa Hospital.

Your company or organization will benefit from a stronger, expanded event through increased opportunities for corporate exposure, networking and participation.

Every 10 minutes, someone in Canada suffers a stroke. The Ottawa Hospital’s innovative, rapid-response stroke program, headed by neurologist Dr. Michael Sharma, ensures fast diagnosis and treatment of acute stroke patients in Ottawa. The Hospital leads the country in stroke research - a result of your contribution.

Please book the date for June 18th for your foursome. We are completing new information packages on sponsorship, registration and the tournament you have supported in the past along with an outline of additional benefits available this year. We will follow up shortly to confirm your participation.

Thank you for your participation in the past and we look forward to your continued support this year and beyond. Your contribution will go a long way to ensure The Ottawa Hospital remains a national leader in stroke research and patient care.

Yours sincerely,

Susan Doyle, President & CEO, Ottawa Hospital Foundation
John Reid, President, CATAAlliance
Cyrille Aubin, Vice President, Branch Manager, RBC Dominion Securities
