As you are likely aware, there is a strong and growing market for Canadian businesses and a new sophistication at work in the transactions marketplace. US investors are currently finding Canadian businesses very attractive due to the low transaction multiples and its flexible financial structures. Domestic demand for Canadian businesses is being driven in part by the explosive growth of private equity groups.

The Ottawa marketplace is poised to experience a higher level of transaction activity than it has in the past as Venture Capitalists are preparing to exit from their more mature portfolio investments as a result of investment time horizons drawing to a close. Acquirees are looking to add products, features and revenue beyond organic initiatives.

We have convened a high level group of transaction experts to discuss these trends and share their experiences. During the discussion, you will be able to question the panel on issues that affect your business.
