OTTAWA... CATAAlliance and partners wish to identify innovative organizations developing technologies, services and capabilities which are a strategic match with its SunFactory Initiative.

Company Background:
The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) is the foundation for commercialization, market research, networking, events, access to other associations, and professional development, across the nation. CATA is a non- profit organization and is the largest hi-tech alliance in Canada and has deep relationships with all levels of Government (both domestic and international), major corporations, universities and colleges and many SME’s.

SunFactory:
CATA has recently created clean tech initiatives collectively called ‘SunFactory’. SunFactory will embrace a network of corporate partners with the shared goal of helping Canada transition to a clean energy future while supporting Canadian Solar technology, innovation and expertise. SunFactory will include a Clean Tech Demonstration Park and Export Promotion activities. With the support of its partners, SunFactory would become part of a CCI Full Spectrum Center (FSC).

CATA and partners vision for SunFactory includes performance testing of commercial solar technologies as well as installing and testing new “cutting edge” Solar technology systems. Partner Solar manufacturers and integrators will benefit from extensive media exposure and the unique B2B domestic and international marketing resources. Currently CATA and partners are negotiating and planning for the implementation of the demonstration park.
