Ottawa, April 4, 2014 - The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATAAlliance) is pleased to announce that Zamani Wireless Solutions (ZWS) has thrown its support behind CATA's mobile health initiative and we recognize ZWS as our newest start-up member. 

ZWS plans are to develop the intelligent sensor technology platform. The first application of this technology is intended to be an autonomous and non-intrusive fall detection product targeting Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) for seniors who are living alone at home or at seniors’ homes.

CATA CEO, John Reid, said, “It is important, as Canada's largest technology association, that we create value for start-ups and we are thrilled that ZWS recognizes the value we bring has thrown its support behind our mobile health initiative."
