Attn: All Subscribers to CATA's direct email database (News Pulse Option)
Re: Anti-Spam Legislation, Required Changes
As we have previously advised, Canada's anti-spam legislation ("CASL") enters into force on July 1, 2014 and, in response, we are moving the posting of tech bulletins, advocacy alerts, invitations, job openings and other communications to our social media Group(s) on Linkedin.
We are providing a second option for CATA's direct email subscribers to continue to receive CATA communications; namely, you can now subscribe to the CATA News Pulse which deliveries weekly technology, innovation and entrreneurship updates, alerts and opportunity information.
Your action is to review the CATA News Pulse and then Subscribe to Updates ( at the top right red button):
As an added benefit, subscribers are able to post content and add commentaries by alerting us to the URL where it is posted.
Thank you for your assistance in responding to this new regulatory requirement.
We take our obligations under forthcoming anti-spam legislation and existing privacy legislation very seriously. Please contact our offices should you have questions regarding Privacy Compliance at firstname.lastname@example.org .
