CATA CEO, John Reid’s interview with Cassy Aite focuses on the Legacy Conference theme of motivating and empowering young Canadians to become entrepreneurs and to better understand the skills and resources they need in order to make them successful.

Cassy is a 4th year finance student at the University of Ottawa with a strong interest in entrepreneurship. One of his first ventures was a hedge trimming business he started at the age of 16. In his third year of operations he served over 100 clients and employed 4 people. Since then Cassy has launched several businesses in the fields of e-commerce and software. Cassy most recently placed first with his team in the US Embassy Google Startup weekend and received the Ontario Summer Company Award as a participant in the accelerator program. Cassy has experience consulting at an investment bank for e-commerce, aquaculture, and high tech companies. He is interested in technology, investing, and sports.
