Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) study Expression of Interest
February 23, 2007

CATAAlliance along with the Université du Québec en Outaouais are seeking qualified respondents to participate in a new Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) study being launched today.

In order to qualify for this study, candidates must have participated in an M&A and can speak to the experiences and challenges faced by both organizations during the consolidation period.

This survey is being conducted to provide empirical data in support of a recently published model of successful M&A management titled: Mergers and Acquisitions and Project Management: Defeating Gravity and the Strategic Distance by Tamas Koplyay, Ph.D; Jean-Paul Paquin, Ph.D., Université du Québec en Outaouais; and Brendon N. Bulger, MPM, BN Bulger Consulting Services. A copy of this report is available to all CATAAlliance members upon request.

"The hi-tech industry has ample experience with M&A, which often serve as an exit strategy for venture capital and the owners of the start up," explains Professor Koplyay of the University of Quebec, and CATA Research Director.

The results of the survey and the subsequent paper based on survey analysis will be shared with all survey respondents.
