OTTAWA, March 15. 2012 - CATAAlliance, Canada's largest high technology association announced today the creation of a new Technology Commercialization Award recognizing excellence in generating and developing new technologies and products with the use of advanced manufacturing and innovative electronics. The Award is named after one of world’s leading innovative global supply chain solutions companies, Celestica.

Finalists and award recipients will be chosen by a selection committee comprising experts drawn from the CATAAlliance Governing Council and Celestica.

According to CATAAlliance President, John Reid, "Celestica continues to demonstrate its dedication to technology excellence and leadership through its support of recognition programs, research and advocacy. They are an important part of building Canada's Innovation Nation. We're proud to announce that the Technology Commercialization Award will be named in Celestica’s honour and congratulate them on their corporate citizenship."

And every year, we wish to recognize the best of the best through the CATA Award.”
