We asked our community about the three top benefits of the CATA Social Media Group, an opt-in, moderated LinkedIn Group with more than 10,600 members.

Here is what they said:

The first benefit was being able to engage with a peer group from Canada and around the globe. Yes your network can serve as powerful personal and business asset.

The second benefit was how you can stay informed and share ideas on key topics, at times beyond your own sphere of interest and activity. You learn from each other.

Our LinkedIn group is an excellent way to ask questions and bounce ideas off others; there is always a CATA executive team member ready to help or share a resource or provide valuable counsel

And the third benefit is a personal and community one. We benefit from your ideas, direction and guidance for CATA advocacy and rely on your voice to focus our campaigns. Our advocacy success becomes your advocacy success.

There you have it, three reasons why you should join the CATA LinkedIn group. Post a question, offer your perspective and advice, link to an article of interest or let us know about an opportunity.

If you are not a member of the CATA Group, please join now and also circulate this communique to your team members and ask them to join at: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/Canadian-Advanced-Technology-Alliance-CATA-37239/about

Looking forward to seeing you soon.
