The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (www.cata.ca) invites you to register your interest to participate in an exclusive Roundtable meeting with the lead advocates for the Canadian emergency services chiefs associations.
It is a by invitation only Roundtable on January 19th in Ottawa with the top leadership from the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP), Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC), and the Emergency Medical Services Chiefs of Canada (EMSCC) who have asked CATA stakeholders to meet with them in order that they may share their advocacy positions and engage in Q&A.
Who should attend?:
Executives of companies offering related ICT product/services, key public safety and spectrum stakeholders within the three levels of government, and other First Responders seeking to provide individual input.

Federal Consultations on Taxation of Corporate Groups:
KPMG & CATA Survey Request. The Department of Finance is undertaking consultations on the taxation of corporate groups. The consultations could lead to the adoption of a more formalized system of loss transfers or some form of consolidated reporting, which could dramatically alter the taxation of many corporate groups in Canada. Canadian tax and financial executives for their views on these potential new measures. Please take ten minutes or so to share your comments and concerns by answering the questions in our survey by January 28, 2011.
