Please join us as our guest for a unique knowledge-sharing Roundtable on February 26th (Senate Boardroom Robertson Hall, Carleton University, Ottawa), designed exclusively for senior Canadian government agents. As part of our Innovation 08 series, the theme is: “Governing Smarter: How government officials can boost accountability and help Canada compete more powerfully on the global stage.”

This informative half-day session will allow you the opportunity to debate and discuss amongst your colleagues tactics and strategies for strengthening accountability, streamlining processes and fortifying leadership in government,

Government Accountability Roundtable Overview:

As government officials in Canada, we face a challenging environment: The labour pool is shrinking while our policies and procedures continually change, becoming more difficult every day. What kind of leadership is required to attract fresh talent and gain a competitive advantage? How can we provide value greater value and less daunting complexity?

This Roundtable will specifically explore themes of accountability, transparency and value.

It will also include a lively discussion on trends in environment management and integrated business communications. Through it, you’ll gain insight into the challenges and new solutions of your peer organizations – and together brainstorm how we can raise the bar for governing in Canada

It’s a chance to dialogue with senior government peers and share working strategies on how to reinvent your agency to: provide stronger leadership for Canadian economic growth; decrease complexity and increase value in government policies; and balance long-term policy development with more immediate needs
