Michael Sullivan is a 31-year veteran with Ottawa Fire Services. 17 years in suppression was ended due to a serious injury sustained at work. Michael holds an Economics degree from Carleton U which was useful in transforming to his ensuing career; 2 years in administration, 9 years as a Training Officer, 1 year acting Division Chief of Training, presently Division Chief of Communications. In 2003 he received the General Manager’s Commendation Award for implementing a state of the art CAD and RMS. A proponent of unified command and its benefits and applying the correct technology to the need, places him in an ideal mind set to represent the Tri Services. An opportunity to stand for Public Safety in such a significant cause is to be prized.
