Scoring is expected to be relatively subjective with each selection committee member expected to bring different views and insights to their analysis. Each member will be required to conduct an independent evaluation for each submission and attend a group assessment session for the purposes of arriving at a consensus score for each nominee.

Scoring will be tracked using an Excel spreadsheet which will be pre-loaded with the information provided in the official nominations and include spaces for a score and explanation for that score.

Selection committee members will arrive at a consensus on scores for each nomination and finally the winning submission. In the event of a tie in scoring, committee members will use either a secret or open ballot voting approach to determine a winner. The decision of the judges will be final.
